DRM eBooks moving from 505 to 700

Howdy all,

Has anyone had any experience with the impact on DRM eBooks when moving from a 505 to a 700?

If so; it would be great if they could shares some of the details of the difficulty (or absence) of transferring the DRM books from one device to another.

Thanks in advance,

Franbo

I haven't had any issues for example when taking the SD card out of my 505 which contained all the downloaded classics from the Sony Store in LRX format and inserting it directly and being able to read them on my 700. I am not sure if you have to authorize your 700 to your account in the Sony Store first to be able to do this.

If the books are Sony DRM'ed from the Sony Store you can also either transfer them again to a second device from the Sony Library software or even download them again via your store account.

I think as long as you authorize your device the first time you connect it to your machine, (either in the Sony software or Adobe Digital Editions) you shouldn't have any problems.

yeah you have to plug in your 700 to the same computer your 505 syncs to. authorize it the same way you did your 505, and then your good to go.

you can have upto 5 readers on 1 account

Hi all, does this mean if I import a 700 to the UK, I can use it with digital editions just like the 505?
