Need help in choosing ereader for foreign language studies.
Hallo everyone.
I am new here. Thanks to a friend who recommended me this site. Currently I'm studying foreign languages such Chinese and Korean. I need an ereader that more or less will suit my needs: - that I can highlight and make notes in characters - color, 7 inch plus - play audio and video - that I can read it outside - has dictionary Well, basically that's it. Most of my files are in PDF and text. Will anyone kindly help me decide? Thank you very much for your time and help. Best regards |

The iPad would fit most or all of your needs, but it is expensive. You might want to look at the Nook Color or the Pocketbook IQ. None of them will be good to read outside in the sun; for something to read in the sun, look at e-ink devices like the Sony PRS-950 or the Pocketbook 903, but they won't play video and aren't in colour, but (in my opinion) e-ink is much more pleasant to read from.
p.s. I just started learning Korean, too. I've been taking a course for a month now and I really enjoy it. Best of luck with your studies. |

Thanks for your reply. iPad is way too expensive for me. I need to find where I can purchase Nook Color (I'm in Europe). PB IQ has come to my mind... well, I'll be using the ereader inside most of the time. Good luck with your Korean study!
