PRS-900 Questions before buying

Hi,

I'm thinking about buying prs-900. I already have the 505 and I really like the device.

1. I do a lot of PDF reading. Does the device perform well in that regard? I read mostly academic papers.
2. Is the screen of the 900 looks as good as 505?
3. Here in israel the wireless function will not work. did any one try to pair the device with eye-fi? maybe there is a hack that will make everyone happy?

1. I only read one PDF document on my PRS-900 — the user manual that came included, the document reads fine but then it's “formatted to fit the screen”.
2. No, it's not. It's miles better than PRS-700 and slightly better than PRS-600 but it's not nearly as crisp and contrasty as the PRS-505 and PRS-300.
3. I saw some discussion over on the-ebook.org of someone trying to change the APN settings for non-AT&T network, but I don't think that the person succeeded. Haven't seen anything about any other connectivity attempts.

I only use the USB mode for transfers. I've never used the wifi at all.

I find the PRS 900 screen much better than the 505 which I gave away.
