This happens to me as well, but usually only when I am trying to demonstrate the changing of fonts to somebody else ;-)
I just open the book after crash and set the fonts again. Second try usually works.

Is there any word on an actual public release of 15.3? I am using the 15.3b beta and I love it, but I don't worry about messing with the fonts, I found the one I love whilst using 14.2.

The 15.x firware has been in development for close to a year now, surely it must be getting close now. I'm worried that all efforts on firmware development are going to be focussed on the newer models.

New FW PB 302

Promises, promises, promises.
I bought my PB 302 june last year. One of the reasons for my choice, the internet browser.
It is still not working. I think it is time for a service offering by PB: exchange action.

The best 5-10 beta testers will get to test our new models in September.
The most thorough of those (3) will get their device as a gift for Xmas. The others will be able to buy their device for a really good price.
Please let us know in this thread when you're interested.
PS: This means that you will have to do a little work both for the software and for the hardware. Please think about this before you get on the list as we do not want people that just want the software and don't cooperate with us. So please be serious about this.

As many testers mentioned here that for pdf - pdfviewer is not in the beta version, could you confirm whether pdfviewer will be permanently removed or will this still be part of the firm release.
Thanks

The firmware is developed in Russia and I think there are a few possibilities:
  1. All priority is given to the new devices, leaving the PB302 at the bottom of the stack.
  2. The developers are working hard, but the firmware code is such a mess they can't deliver it on schedule.
  3. The new PB302 firmware is ready, being tested and will be provided to us within a week.

Options 1 and 2 are equally bad, they both result in no effective support for the PB302.

Option 3 is getting more and more unrealistic by the day, since we don't get a decent replies from PocketBook. Remember that their representatives on this forum are sales persons, not support engineers...

I agree.
As the representatives on this formum are sales persons, they might consider an exchange action.

I am an owner of PB302. Bought it in August when it still seemed promessing. My main concerns are browser and rss feeds.

But the real point here is: when will the promised PB302 firmware be delivered?

ATM, I do not have any official statement on that. I only hear from our R&D things like "real soon now", not a specific day.

If they don't get that firmware working really soon, being called "Russians" would be a compliment compared to some other naming they will receive
