The game is an economic development simulation so it is good training for the business world.

Of course, people jumping on the bandwagon means all such efforts will be diluted (to put it mildly), I was amused to see the number of books on "Kindle Countdown" grow from under a hundred the first day I looked, to eight hundred or so the next day, and well over 3k the day after that (now over 4k). |

Alpha 4 for DOS anyone?
yes, I have to maintain a network that uses it, complete with DOS only printers... I did finally force them to stop using PFS Write (is that the one? or maybe PC Write - anyway, an old DOS pgm with a proprietary save file that was compatible with nearly nothing and a pain to translate everytime they sent me a file). Of course, if old WordPerfect (pre-Novell and definitely before being destroyed by Corel) still worked, I'd still be using it. |

But there is one huge caveat: You need to be PREPARED to change and upgrade when that old system finally dies. Don't leave your business processes in limbo when you can't readily find replacement hardware, or support for long-defunct software. ApK |

None of which is available to the UK store (I guess the same applies to all the others non-US stores as well) I would dearly like to have Matchbook.

No guarantee things will ever be available on non-US stores though. Active content on the e-ink Kindles for instance never made it to the UK. Prime is also different here (and not really worth the £50/year they want for it IMHO)

I took Soy Sauce for Beginners. The description seemed interesting.

TIMEBOUND - Any YA SF that dares invoke the Heinlein juveniles had better deliver or face a major smackdown.
