nook not detected on linux

Just started playing with Calibre and a shiny new nook and let me start with thanks to the developers for the software and then ask if anyone can comment on the error msg below.

The storage mounts w/o issue but Calibre won't see the device. This is from an F12 install so the sysfs thing should not be the problem...

any help appreciated,

rikm

Good morning kovidgoyal and thanks for your reply, and thanks again for the app, looks like a keeper.

There is an .rpm for 0.6.42 in the Fedora repos, has this been fixed downstream?...doesn't seem to be a file called 'calibre-mount-helper' anywhere, is it an internal function that is not being found?

It's a bug in the RPM. uninstall it and instead install calibre from the calibre website following the directions for a binary install.

...all good now, and a significant upgrade as well, thanks again.

Have you posted the bug in Fedora-land?...if not I will notify the usual suspects...
