Dutch title case function
I like to cleanup all my booktitles with the titlecase option in the bulk metadata edit screen.
It seems to me that this is only possible with english titles. I do not like to change the dutch words 'de' 'het' 'een' etc into 'De' 'Het' 'Een'. Is there a way to modify the titlecase function to the dutch spelling? I went thru both the form and the manual but could not a solution. Thanks in advance |

Titlecase is english only. For other languages you have to clean up the results by hand.

Ok thanks.
Maybe the search and replace can do most of the work. |

It's still useful in non english languages, just not perfect.

Title case as it is used in English is not commonly used in Dutch. The "standard" way of spelling titles is with just the first word capitalized. Anyone who ever would think of adding a Dutch title case function to Calibre would need to do it that way, rather than doing it in the English way with all words capitalized except "small" words such as articles.
Of course, if anyone wants to display Dutch titles in any other way in their Calibre library they are welcome to do so, but that would be non-standard. |

Is the dutch spelling of titles defined somewere. I could not find anything on this subject on the internet.
The best option for me is to use the "standard" way of spelling, which is incorporated in Calibre, and modify names, places etc manually. |

Title casing is very culture specific, even within the same language different cultures/communities can have different casing rules.
