WSJ - Where is it?

Can't find the WSJ app in the Android store. The app shows-up when I search the store on my Galaxy Tab. Does rooting the NC eliminate some of the apps available for download? Thanks

Can you retrieve the .apk from your Tab to use on your NOOKcolor?

What are you using to back up your apps, data, and settings on the Tab? Is it being backed up to an SD card? If so, you should be able to retrieve the .apk from the backup folder.

Well, every device has a filtered view of market, limited to apps the developers of those apps specify (because it requires a specific version of android or certain hardware features, or just because the dev wants to limit it).

Given that before rooting the NC currently has no access to the market, I wouldn't really say that rooting 'eliminated' some apps from the market. Does it have a filtered view of the market? Yes, just like every other android device, rooted or not.

I believe the official WSJ app is currently limited to only the Galaxy Tab by WSJ. No other device has it in its default view. This may change after CES announcements of new products next week. Who knows?
