Looking into my next vacation. At the moment I think I'll rent a small cottage for a week in June. It's a very small cottage, so hopefully my sister won't invite herself.
I had planned to go a bit further afield on my own, but my sister wants to visit Copenhagen after the summer and for some reason she can't go on vacation on her own so I'll have to join her. However, Copenhagen isn't cheap. So my solo trip can't be too expensive. Mind you, being lazy for a week on my own isn't exactly punishment. |

I've had a productive couple of hours.
I've updated the books I've read in January in Calibre, put the stamps and dies I've got over the past two months in stamp pockets and labelled them, made a start on my mother's birthday card and printed the pictures I took over the past two weeks. The only two chores left on my list for today are to pick up the cinema tickets for Wednesday and go to the supermarket. The latter I'll walk by on the way to the former, but since the cinema doesn't open until noon I'll have to wait. |

Packing for a two week business trip to Madrid.
The good news is that it comes during the school half term holiday so, as Mrs B is a teacher, her and my youngest son will join me for five days at just the cost to us of their flights (the hotel cost for the three of us is no different than for me on my own so the client is happy to pay that). |

Thawing out after filling the bird feeder - it's brutally cold out (for the south) and I'm feeding a large flock of finches, chick-a-dees, etc., not to mention a murder of 5 huge crows that lives in our trees, and the occasional woodpecker and squirrel. The feeder is now being emptied almost daily.
