blank pages on a pdf book

Hi there guys, I just wanted to know if you guys have encountered blank pages on pdf, as in every pages, both on the ebook reader and the ebook library software? what causes that to happen?

It's the formating of a PDF, they suck

someone will come along and tell you if it's fixable or not.

Newbie here but we seem to be having the same problem. I have a PRS 505 with quite a few books on it, both purchased & freebies, that I've had no problems with. Tonight, I tried to load a PDF of a genealogy file & cannot see anything in the Digital Editions program or on the book. The information is definitely there in the original file, I can open the it from the disc & read it but only see blank pages elsewhere. When I copy it to Digital Editions, it does show the correct number of pages but they're all blank.

I'd appreciate any ideas anyone can come up with!

It might be because pages are compressed with JPEG2000 which is not supported by many ebook readers. Get Adobe Acrobat X and convert images to regular JPEG.

Last time I looked, Acrobat was a very, very expensive piece of software (as in "many hundreds of $"). That's an awfully expensive way to convert a book, don't you think?

But it is a working solution. If you have a cheaper one that works, it is of course preferable.
