Source material was from Project Gutenberg, U.S. Removed a lot of extraneous HTML that did not transfer well to e-book viewing, improved layout and formatting of images and tables to extent possible, added a map figure, and a new cover.

Nicely, Hamlet. Many thanks. It's a while since I read *Beagle* and I read here at MR recently someone comparing it to *Origin* and emphasising the sense of adventure in *Voyage of the Beagle*. Now looking forward very much to your re-worked version. Here's karma to ya. Neil

I opened the file with Sigil and actually it wasn't so happy...
I always want to please him/it and so I set up to correct the epub.

There were a few modifications necessary in contents.opf
and a couple of minor corrections in gutemberg.xhtml and cviii.xhtml

I annex the corrected version.

If you want to check the change unzip the epub and look at the files with a 2015 date.

By the way the 340K file thumbs.db in the image directory is created by windows and could be safely deleted considerably reducing the size of the epub file.

Thank you very much for this very nice version of The Voyage of the Beagle!

Though, there is a problem within the main CSS: "," have been put instead of "." (I do it a lot as French is my native language!).

See for example, in bold

}

Also some images seem missing.

PS The melenso version also has this problem (, instead of . in CSS)
