Russian fonts in SR 600
Just got a new reader today for my birthday and was trying to read through the instructions on how to enable Russian fonts on it. Unfortunately, the instructions Igor posted back in 2006 dont seem to apply to the 600. Any idea?
Thanks |

The outlook is not good at the moment. We'll see after I get a unit (maybe next week).

Svetlana,
You don't need to wait for Russification to start reading Russian ebooks on PRS-600. The EPUB, PDF and LRF with embedded fonts work fine. So, there are a few choices besides installing Cyrillic fonts on the Reader. |

Even if you say it three more times, it still will be true. You are correct, most Russian books are available in fb2 format. However, there are easy online tools to convert fb2 to EPUB and PDF. And the Reader was never able to read fb2 directly anyway, so some type of conversion is always necessary.
