That looks great! Why would anybody laugh? It's $370 cheaper than an Ipad, has Android (plenty of apps to mess with there), an SD card slot, WI-FI, 5 hours battery, USB ports and....well, what more could anybody want for the price?
If I wanted a tablet, I'd probably pick up this or something else running Android rather than an iPad. |

Actually, it's a pretty amazing device although it runs Andoird OS 1.5; if it is guaranteed to run the latest version, 2.1 ... geez ... I'm interested!

I wonder what sort of touch screen it has.
Something like this definitely is interesting. |

That's brilliant! I might just pick one up to play with while I'm waiting for the real one to come to the 'rest of world' - who knows, maybe it'll be the perfect 7" reading device

If there are Android drivers for external USB audio cards, I'll buy it to listen to digital music in my HiFi system...
You can make a Beo Sound for 1/10 of the price! ;-) |

Nice find! That does look very interesting indeed. SDHC card reader, USB port, unlocked hardware, who is laughing? Man, I want the 10" version to read PDF files on.

The article didn't mention whether or not the battery is user-replaceable. I like everything else about it, though.
