Icarus Excel - Keyboard Software

Hello,

I did some research in the forum and the topic of attaching an external keyboard to an eink device is a recurring interest. Unfortunately, it seems really to depend on the device and the firmware. My question is if there is any possibility to get an external keyboard running with the Icarus Excel. The device has a micro usb and I think it is in principle possible to install the onyx m92 firmware.

PS: I just lost my stylus. Where can I find a cheap replacement?

Hi,

It is very possible to attach a wired USB keyboard to the Onyx Boox M92 (Icarus Excel) if you run Obuntu. It would seem to be one of the few devices for which this would seem to be possible. See the preview images thread. There has been some discussion of this more recently, that is, towards the end of the thread:

You can get a stylus that works with the M92 (being the same as that for the M96) comparatively cheaply from:
