Cut off Headers

Normally I convert all files .txt etc to mobi .prc
However I decided to try using .txt only
I put 4 files into the main memory and the
header worked perfect on one, only the others
were all cut off halfway through name.
I have tried different font sizes still the same.
I have much longer headers with.prc files.
Any help would be appreciated

What do you mean by "header"? Do you mean the book's title?

Hello Harry

Yes Harry the title at the top of each page when in reading mode
within the library everything is displayed correctly.
eg .txt file arl Hiaasen instead of Carl Hiaasen
whereas with .prc Charles Palliser The Quincunx no problems.
Sounds like a bug if you have not got the answer
Have reset and deleted and reinstalled the books
still the same.

Have you noticed the problem when you change font family or font size, or does it not occur?

But have you converted it to mobipocket??? And could you post a (zipped) copy of the text file here - just so I could try to replicate the problem?

Hello Derek

I converted the .txt files to .prc problem gone
it appears to be a bug with .txt files only.
I had dragged the .txt files into main memory
to test wether it was neccesary to convert
every time. It would appear it makes sense
although as I said in my first post one .txt
file worked and 3 did not!

I will try again with different files but time for bed
now want to read my books!!

barney111, whats the name of the file. TXT?

I also use cybook. txt and Headers works correctly.

Example:

the name. txt:
Carl Hiaasen.txt

Headers Cybook:
Carl Hiaasen

the name. txt:
CARL HIAASEN.txt

Headers Cybook:
carl hiaasen.txt

Release of my cybook: 1.1.708

Hello All

Just for info tried again put 4 .txt
books in main memory the header
worked on one and cut itself off
on the other 3.
Will convert to .prc
Stumped!!
