Question D-Pad SD Card Boot

Hi, I'm looking to getting a Kobo Touch because they're hackable and fairly safe to do so.

However, I'm aware that on the Kobo WiFi model there is a D-Pad and pressing the middle button while booting will boot off the user's SD card. I'm wondering if and how this is possible on the Touch?

Thank you!

As far as I know, no one has found a way to boot off an SD card on the Touch.
