Calibre MTPError: Failed to get storage info for the device (Kindle Fire)
I just got my Kindle Fire the other day, as a replacement for my Kindle 3 that got broken. I have four books in my Calibre library that I today tried to put on my Fire. Two of the books transferred without trouble, but the other two wouldn't transfer. They both gave me the same error, lots of file paths and then:
MTPError: Failed to get storage info for device. Why would it suddenly not be able to transfer the books, when it transferred the other two just fine minutes before? And what can I do about it? |
