Given that B&N only sell to customers in the US, it's almost certainly US-restricted.

They ahven't actually updated the apps other than changing the name to Nook4PC. The iPhone app was updated a couple weeks ago.

Sorry about that, why don't they also sell to other countries like Amazon does, especially when it is e-books that they don't have to send physically.

There are rights issues involved which they haven't dealt with yet.
