Installation issue has been resolved.
Hello everyone to has responded and assisted with this issue. Thank you all for your input, suggestions and tips. I finally had the chance (after careful planning and preparation) to complete the "in-place" Windows 7 Ultimate Upgrade installation. I used A Win 7 Ultimate USB stick to do the Upgrade install and everything was fixed. Calibre installation went off without a hitch, and I am sure I will no longer have any issues with any other .msi installations.
Thanks again! For anyone else who may run into this situation, the following article was VERY valuable to me in preparing for the "in-place" installation: https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorial...r-install.html Paul Kelly |
