Communication error question
Hi all!
I'm running Calibre version 2.77 and was trying to transfer book to my Kindle Fire HDX via USB, and I'm getting the following error: Failed to get children from device: hr=2147942521 facility=7 error_code=121 description: The semaphore timeout period has expired. Traceback (most recent call last): File "site-packages\calibre\gui2\device.py", line 88, in run File "site-packages\calibre\gui2\device.py", line 506, in _books File "site-packages\calibre\devices\mtp\driver.py", line 218, in books File "site-packages\calibre\devices\mtp\driver.py", line 190, in get_driveinfo File "site-packages\calibre\devices\mtp\windows\driver.py", line 269, in filesystem_cache WPDError: Failed to get children from device: hr=2147942521 facility=7 error_code=121 description: The semaphore timeout period has expired. Then your remaining options are:
1) Different USB cable/port 2) Reset the Fire 3) Use one of the wireless transfer methods: https://manual.calibre-ebook.com/faq...kindle-fire-hd |
