JCPenny selling an eBook reader?
It's called the Simplicit.E.Reader™ (Link)
I can't find any information on this device. It has a color 5" lcd display and will read Adobe DRM epub and PDF files. Does anyone have more information? |

Looks like they are partnering with BooksOnBoard somehow, since they're offering a discount on purchases made there. Maybe BoB will have some info.

It looks like a five inch backlit LCD. Can't have competitive battery life, or weight if it's got a battery big enough to be viable.
Still yet! The price is inviting! |

I guess this one is brand new (not even available yet). I like the form factor. Wondering here if it has a touchscreen (at least that's not mentioned)

It sort of reminds me of the Panasonic Words Gear. I like the form factor as well. I wonder how heavy it is?

Yes, I like the form factor as well. And not a lot is mentioned... OS, screen technology (considering there are various kinds of LCD screens), processor....

Looks interesting enough. In case the page goes down or folks find the flash thing buggy, here's a moderately high-res picture of it so people can see it.
