PB 360 screen fault
Bought a PB360 about a month ago because I liked the idea of a small form factor. However after after only a few weeks the screen now has an inking fault (see attachment).
The device has not been maltreated in anyway. I have contacted the vendor (greenreader) who also sold me the 302 I bought but so far have got no response. At almost £200 this device is not cheap and would appear to have a rather flimsy plastic shell that doesn't provide adequate protection |

I've been told by Greenreader that this is a non warranty fix and it will cost around £125 to repair
This seems like throwing good money after bad - its virtually the cost of buying another ereader and the fragility of the plastic shell means that it could easily occur again. It's for a very good reason that companies like Sony use a very rigid metal chassis. I would definitely advise against buying this product unless you are going to keep it in your house and handle it with kid gloves - so much for being a portable ereader! |
