This is an assumption, but I am of the mind that once the pre-ordering is through, and they have them in stock to start shipping, the price will go back up to $229.

Are any of the readers "puppy dog safe"? Either safe for puppy dogs or safe from puppy dogs? Is there a bacon flavored reader? A bacon skin for a reader? Will any of the readers cook the bacon (or even bring home the bacon?)

  1. Take a reader.
  2. Then take a small rectangle of MDF or Plywood, same shape
  3. Paint wood to look like reader.
  4. Whack puppy on the head with fake reader when he starts to sniff at it.
  5. Taunt puppy with reader "Here puppy", then whack puppy when he sniffs reader.
  6. Repeat until he is scared of reader and refuses to go near.
  7. You now have a doggy-proof ebook reader device.

$199 + $40 S&H + $50 VAT (more or less, most likely). That'll be rather expensive...

But that maroon does look awesome

Hmm, just checking the VAT amount...

It's a book, right (ok, sort of...), because in that case it's only 6% VAT instead of 19%! (so, 14,34 instead of 45,41 )
