I'm reading "And another thing..." by Eoin Colfer and I totally believe that Douglas Adams/Eoin Colfer nailed it right on how everything happened. You know, Gods living in Aesir and sending their resumé planet by planet to get hired. Also I'm pretty sure we'll discover the Sub-Etha soon. Right now we'll have to make do with the internet.

I'm glad you brought that up. There are any number of scientists and thinkers who have come to different opinions of the validity of Christianity as well as other religions than those of us who have not found a convincing reason to believe. All too often we tend to zero in on the lowest common denominator when arguing our position. Thanks for that reminder for the need for humility.

Or we can look at the best scientists:

http://www.lhup.edu/~dsimanek/sci_relig.htm

Quote:
On the subject of eminent scientists, they mention unpublished data collected by one of the co-authors: "Beit-Hallahmi (1988) found that among Nobel Prize laureates in the sciences, as well as those in literature, there was a remarkable degree of irreligiosity, as compared to the populations they came from." The reference is to: Beit-Hallahmi, B. (1988). The religiosity and religious affiliation of Nobel prize winners. Unpublished data.
So no need for humility.

It's important to keep the laundry up to date.
