Those required for some Kobo utilities functions, Cycle (As I read a large german sci-fi series which entails about 2800 ebooks divided by cycles in their story... and it's easier to navigate to a certain ebook in that series that way.), Genre, Kobo Shelves (as I keep losing oversight when carrying my whole Perry Rhodan collection)

I'm using a few custom colums:

Pages - Used for the value returned by the Count Pages plugin
Super - This contains a "Super Series" column. For example, The Dark Elf Trilogy and Icewind Dale Trilogy form the first six books of the super series "The Lengend of Drizzt".
Arch - This contains an overarching theme. Often, in shared worlds, books in different series form their own storyline.
Read - Is empty, or contains one or more years in which the book was read.
