We don't actually know this yet. A lot of ePub have margins set in them. So this could be the margins set in that ePub on the screen. We just have to wait and see. But I do hope we don't have preset stupid margins like iBooks and the Kindle App. The Kindle App actually has larger margins then iBooks.

If the software works the same way as on the Sony PRS-650, you can go to page layout and choose a screen layout that has text going edge to edge on the screen.

This is great news and about time Sony got around to it. It's because Sony didn't offer this feature, that I've been buying most of my books from Kobo who has always had it.
