Safari reader and recipes?

To the more technologically inclined among you: is there a way to use the Safari Reader functionality (or something similar) in a Calibre recipe?

It seems to me to do such a great job of removing tags and extracting the text I want, even from multiple pages, that it seems almost purpose-made for a Calibre recipe.

I agree that safari reader cleans things up nicely. To answer the question of what is it, it is a feature of Apple's Safari browser that detects an article on page full of ads and extracts the text into a nicely readable form. You can then read without the clutter, download to pdf (via the print function), or do a select all, copy and paste into a word processing or text editing program. This output could then be put into calibre and converted to an ebook format. I believe the problem with automating this is the fact that you first have to navigate to the web page of interest and then click on an icon to invoke this feature. Maybe it can be scripted, but I doubt it.
