Two readers registered to the same account
I have two readers: a Blackberry Storm 9630 and recently a Kindle both are registed to my same account. Here are my questions: becuase of my desire not to break the Kindle I do not cary it everywhere with me instead I will frequently pull out my blackberry storm when my Kindle is not in my hands. Can I expect my blackberry storm to know where I am in which books?

If you have your Kindle's WiFi or 3G connection on, and the book has been bought from Amazon, then yes, they will sync.

My Kindle does in fact have wifi and so does the berry. I need the berry to tap into the account and find out where I am and what I have, at the moment its significantly outdated. On the home screen on the berry I click Sync and Check items and it has not updated.

When you open the book on your Blackberry it should ask you if you want to update the latest reading position. If it's not doing so, I'd suggest contacting Kindle (not Amazon) customer service. Syncing the reading position WITHIN a book has nothing to do with checking for new items.

You need to have syncing turned on on your Manage Your Kindle page in your Amazon account. When you log in to Manage Your Kindle, you will see an option that says Manage Your Devices on the left. After you click that, check the bottom of the page where it says Device Synchronization (Whispersync Settings). It should be set to ON.

I got solved, tanx it seems that my berry was not downloading the books and I had to tell Amazon to send it to the berry and re-initalize the app.
