Question for you young techies

Would it be possible to do the hardware/software to allow connecting a flash drive to the usb port on a kindle?

Short answer .... Yes, it's possible. The FreeScale CPU Kindle uses supports
USB OTG, but it will take some time for someone to develop such a device driver.

Cool. Given the Kindle2's lack of an SD card and the possibility of Kindle Apps I would expect this idea will be executed by someone fairly soon since it is bound to be profitable.
