Moody, David: Autumn v1.0 2007-10-10

Given away for free here is David Moody's first book in the Autumn series.. Autumn. You can purchase the rest of them in electronic format at http://www.theinfected.co.uk/

Quote:
In less than twenty-four hours a vicious and virulent disease destroys virtually all of the population. Billions are killed. Thousands die every second.

There are no symptoms and no warnings. Within moments of infection each victim suffers a violent and agonizing death. Only a handful of survivors remain. By the end of the first day those survivors wish they were dead.

Then the disease strikes again, and all hell breaks loose...

The classic free underground novel finally bursts into the mainstream. Cold, dark, relentless and uncomfortably plausible. A Night of the Living Dead for the 21st Century.

my 2 cents - an honest opinion

Thanks JSWolf, for posting interesting stuff here. I also appreciate the authors who make their works available. However, I started "Autumn" and "Autumn - The Human Condition", and only got a few pages into each book before giving it up. It is filled with foul and profane language. Perhaps the stories are good ones but they are way too offensive for me. It is a shame to alienate readers like myself who don't like this type of language.
