One of the videos showed page changes by strokes, so maybe it is user selectable??? OR, maybe they are still doing market research concerning usability features? I would actually prefer double taps, since it would be less likely to be activated when pointing out document elements to clients.

However, if the business model allows, if the price is under $400, you will hear the wind being sucked out of Amazon's sails.

I really cannot see PL undercutting the DX by $100 or more, especially since it's got a touch screen, and the issue of how they will charge for wireless is unsettled. They need to make a profit on the device.

If PL does not mess up PDF support and the price is close to the DX, goodbye DX sales.

Well... crud!
Will there ever be a device that uses a wireless service that is actually available in my area? |

The Plastic Logic reader is claimed to be almost exactly as big as the Irex DR (just no rim around the edges, but virtually the same screen size). But a lot lighter and thinner. If it costs 6-700 with a touch screen, WiFi, a decent battery, enough memory or an expansion slot; then I think that is a very reasonable price and I will definitely get one.
