Update: Last charge lasted four days which is a bit of an improvement. Maybe the new firmware update will help WHICH I AM STILL WAITING FOR BY THE WAY KOBO!!

When you get to my totals the biggest lag is during the searches. The first letter of the search always takes a while. Then the rest are very quick. Startup is about a minute from power-on but still fairly responsive during reading.
