Use a bluetooth mouse with the iPad (jailbroken)

Apparently someone got a BT mouse working with the iPad, along with a BT keyboard, turning it into a nice little portable unit.

Why?

At this point, you may as well get netbook. It's like adding a propeller to your car that can float for 1/2 an hour before sinking...

why? why not? because you can, that's why. try and take the screen off that net book and go with it, you can't. but I can add a keyboard and mouse and turn my iPad into something pretty close to a net book.

Well, especially with scrolling (either horizontally to look at all your iPad icons or vertically to look at the browser page), you see you're not getting a fully functioning mouse with scroll wheel.... you're just replicating the finger functionality while all the desktop mouse functions wouldn't necessarily translate over.

And the point is to use a mouse on a multi touch device?
Why?

well, even though it supports multi-touch, it's not like you use it all the time. when selecting email you still only touch one item at a time for example. surfing the web, still single touches. the biggest place i've see multi-touch used is those piano applications.
