The most perceptive of them is this from the FT:
The death of the book, yet again Meanwhile The Times claims the Kindle is coming to the UK 'soon'. And then the more usual luddite nonsense from The Scotsman: 'real books have a touch, colour, shape and even smell that makes them irreplaceable." Yawn. |

A very short note in the Observer ("Sunday Guardian")
There was a very short note, more about availablity of e-books through Waterstones, in the books section of the Observer under "the browser" (look under Screen Saviour).
This also mentions the Kindle in the UK rumours, but with nothing to make you think it is anything more than rumours. |
