HELP! Funny Characters
Hi Everyone!
I'm trying to publish an EPUB from InDesign CS6, but have a small problem with the following character: ḓ (latin small letter d with circumflex below (U+1E13)) In ADE and on the iPad it appears as either a ? or a crossed-out block. Any advice? |

You'll need to embed one of these fonts.

Isn't there like copyright "issues" with fonts?
But I'll give it another try - maybe use a different font? (currently using Linux Libertine) |

Some of the fonts on the list Doitsu linked to are copyrighted and restricted from re-distibuting (unless you pay for a license to do that). But many on that list are released under the SIL Open Font Licence, or GPL, or other re-distributable licenses. And I see that Linux Libertine is indeed on that list, and supposedly supports the glyph you need.
Maybe there is a glitch in your CSS when calling the font? |

If this character doesn't show up, you might have to double-check your CSS and/or download the latest version from the font developer's website. @FullCircleDesign: Out of curiosity, what language uses this character? |
