Safely removing USB stick - How to?
How have you been?
This is my question for today: I have seen how to mount-unmount SD cards. So far, so good. Do USB pendrives have to be mounted-unmounted? If so, where on earth do I find the place to do it? How do I "safely remove" an USB pendrive in my EE? Can anyone help me with this, please? |

You don't have to mount a USB pendrive. Just put it in the eDGe en the device will recognize it as USB0 or USB1. Go to storage and you will see that USB0 (or USB1) is added. If you're done than you have to UNMOUNT: again go to storage. Tap and hold on USB0 (or USB1) and choose unmount. The eDGe will tell you that your device can now be safely removed. That's all. Yes, it was the unmounting what concerned me, now I know how to do it.
Thank you! |
