PDF + calibre
Hello,
I read on the calibre website that part of the problem converting pdfs was that some of the graphics were vector graphics. In my work I use a simple command-line command to convert vector graphics to jpg using ImageMagick. Do you think that maybe calibre could incorporate this or something similar sometime in the future so as to get better pdf conversions (ie, not loosing all the graphics)? If I should post this somewhere else please let me know. Thanks. |

PDF has its own vector image drawing language, I don't know any tool that extracts these images. Converting a "standard" vector image like svg is easy, PDF, not so much
