Expresso Book Machine at Blackwells (UK)

Blackwells bookshop in London now has an Expresso Book Machine for printing books on demand.

The ITProPortal article has an interesting video showing how it works.

There was an item about it on the BBC News last night. Jolly expensive, though: 10p a page, so £30 for a 300-page book. They said that they had a stock of a million books available to print - I think from the British Library, if I heard it correctly; it was on in the background while I was doing something else, so I didn't catch all the details, unfortunately.
