PDF printer driver
When I used to do design for print I had a printer driver that would save a PDF as a print ready file I could take to the local printers. I thought it was something that came with Pagemaker, but when I dug out the disks and borrowed a floppy disk drive to install it there was no option for a PDF driver. Does anyone know what program it might have come with? This would have been mid to late 90s.

My guess is that you're talking about Acrobat Distiller that comes with Adobe Acrobat.
For a free alternative, look at PDF Creator . It's open source and completely free, unlike some of the others which are shareware or nagware. |

Just take the PDF to your local printers. They'll scale it, warp it for you, etc. It's their job.

Wasn't Pagemaker part of that really old Office suite like Office 2000 (or maybe 2003) ? Who uses Pagemaker anymore ? Microsoft dropped support for it a long long time ago, in a galaxy far far away. It's an abandoned project.
Are you using Windows 98 by any chance ? |
