Hi, from sunny Florida
I just ordered my first reader. It is the Sony Pocket Reader and was looking for suggested software for the device. I can't wait to get it. Anyway, a search landed me here and this site looks interesting and useful.
I read quite a bit and my collection is getting out of hand again. So I am hoping to buy fewer books in print and more electronic books. We will see how that goes . I am a techie and almost find is laughable that I have resisted purchasing a reader this long, but my iphone is just no fun to use as a reader and I sit in front of a computer all day long, so who wants to take one to bed?? Hello and welcome to MR, Rita. Good for you for finally getting an e-reader. You'll find lots of information about books and helpful facts about your e-reader. And for the record, there are no tar balls where I live in Southwest Florida either.

Good to have your company, Ritter. After a lifetime of saving books like a miser, it took just six months or so with an ebook reading device before -- for the first time -- I was able to bring myself to clear several hundred treebooks from my shelves. You can now actually swing a cat in my apartment. Cheers. Neil
