zork goes native on Kindle
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/10/11/native_infocom/
this is appealing but I don't want to have to jailbreak hack my Kindle. any views / info on when / if Amazon may legiitimise the whole thing. The Zork game is public domain AFAIK, so that should not be an issue. |

They already talked about this when they released kdk.
apps that don't use bandwidth will be free to download apps that use minimal bandwidth (like <1 mb/month) will be free to download apps that use more bandwidth (some threshold) will have a nominal charge 5$ apps that use lots of bandwidth (another threshold) will have a monthly charge ?? off the top of my head~~ somone who really cares can go find their post |

I believe the app author applied for a KDK but it has not been approved (yet). I think amazon only provides the KDK for well established software companies and developers. Hence why he needed to go the hack route for now.
