calibre trying to access floppy drive

I just updated to 0.8.12 and now calibre is trying to access my floppy disk drive. Without a disk in the drive there is a constant banging of the drive looking for a disk. If I insert a blank disk the banging stops but the activity light is on constantly. What is happening? how can I stop this? I did not have this problem before thsi upgrade.
I am running calibre on a win7 system.

If you have an HTC phone or are running Android, look here:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/calibre/+bug/741632
It may answer your question.

Yes, I have an HTC phone running Android. I disabled the plug-in and restarted calibre and no more problem.
Thanks

This was a lifesaver. It was making me crazy. I disabled the plug in and it stopped. Phew. Thank you.
