Side loaded books stuck in Processing loop?

Hi all
Brand new Kobo touch just tried loading 12 books using calibre in one go (had no problem loading a few at a time) Now my Touch appears to be stuck at Processing content 9%

HELP!!!

Edit: Arghhh did a factory reset reset up wireless added books again one by one, same loop
(or how long can processing 10 books take?)

Depends on how big the books are (Obviously) but on average for me they take about 30 seconds a book.

As for it being stuck one 9%, maybe try and convert the books into E-pub (even though they already are) and maybe that will work.

thanks!
..seems it was indeed those specific books (hard reset twice ....yikes)

so perhaps if i convert em with Calibre it will fix whatever formatting issue they were having?

(they could be opened fine in Calibre but i know that does not mean they don't have errors heh)

Remember when you open books in Calibre you are using the processing power of a desktop/laptop which is significantly greater than that of the Kobo.

Try loading the books one at a time; it is possible that one book in particular has issues that the Touch is not happy with.

You could also try tools like FlightCrew (either standalone or as a part of Sigil) or ePubCheck to see if they complain about any aspects of those ePubs (assuming of course they are DRM free).

Thanks for the feedback!
I wish there was a way to abort a load, should that ever happen again as a reset is a harsh
solution
