Question about the clock
Hi all,
I can't register my kindle wirelessly here, I want to ask is there a way to setup my clock without registering my kindle? I need it badly as I always highlight and make remarks but inside the clipping file the time stop at Year 1970. It annoys me a lot when I need to sort out my highlight and remarks Thanks |

You can, but it's a little difficult.
Basically you need enable remote access via telnet via USB Networking hack and then change the date via "date MMDDHHMMYYYY". You can pseudoregister it in a similar way. It is documented in the above link, but you need to have more linux knowings. However, I've explained more in depth here (Sorry, in Spanish -you can use an online translator). |
