Calibre for Sony prs 350
I gotta guess it supports the 350, but it only says it supports the 300, 900
and "Sony Reader"

I dont see a way to update it

The PRS-350 works fine with Calibre (assuming you are using one of the recent releases).

I do not believe that it matters. The setting will be used in cases where the output resolution matters and both of them have a similar resolution.
