Kindle in South Africa?
What on earth does this mean? Wantitall are advertising the Kindle and a full range of accessories. Are they simply reselling at an inflated price?

That is an amazingly misleading article. Yes, anyone can buy a Kindle without too much difficulty, but you won't be able to use the wireless download service (heavily "plugged" in the article) and nor (without jumping through hoops) will you be able to buy books for it from the Amazon Kindle Store.
