Touch New firmware?

Ok, a few months back, I am sure you guys heard about the rumor that a 1.5.0 release was coming up, based on a screen shot that was posted. The rumor said that it was supposed to come out in June. Didn't know if any more had been leaked since then. Last month or so, I've been totally out of the loop on things.

I have not heard any such rumours, and it doesn't make sense that they would jumpt to 1.5 from the present 1.2.

Edit: I have now read up on thoose rumours, and they really where very vague and seemed more like wishful thinking than anything else.

The 1.5 still has me baffled. That would make sense for the Color and Tablet, since they are both on 1.4-x unless I'm mistaken (I know Tablet is, not sure about Color)

With B&N set to exit the Nook hardware business, I doubt if we are going to get any more release of F/W for any of the Nook (except perhaps to fix really serious bugs).

From what I read, B&N is refocusing on readers instead of tablets.

The version jump did seem odd. Just had hoped for an update that made it so using third party apps less buggy.
