As for me, I'm still trying to work my way through Newegg's "customer service" department. It was almost 2 months ago that I paid them for a laptop. I may get the refund later this week.

Anyway, that's their latest story.

FWIW, cromag, I've been very pleased with the customer and tech service at NCIX.com. While predominantly a Canadian supplier, they do have a US presence and ship from their US warehouse. (No affiliation, just a satisfied customer of many years.)

Due to the worlds wussiest snow storm, the building I work in was shut down on Tuesday. It took close to two days for someone to decide that people should not have to take vacation because of a snow storm. We were grudgingly given permission to work Saturday to make up for the lost hours. The email told us that we could work Saturday but only between 8 AM - 2 PM to make up the eight hours.

I love my place of work

Mega Millions is up to $550 million now. I am going to pay the stupidity tax and pick up some tickets for the next drawing.

Working my four hours. So if 6 hours = 8 hours. How long do I need to work to get my 4 hours in? I am thinking 3....

Yep, algebra bears it out. 6/8 = x/4, 8x = 24, x = 3.

In Ontario, the proceeds from the lotteries supports hospitals, amateur athletes, and other programs ( well, in theory at least

), so I look at it as the only tax that provides some hope, as opposed to the other taxes which just seem to provide the feeling of "WTF are you doing with my money???!?!"
