Error creating an epub catalog

I get this error when trying to create an epub catalog. Same thing for a MOBI. I can make one that is CSV without issue. I really would like to make one that is an EPUB. Do I have a wrong setting?

A couple of things.

First, It appears that you have a corrupt cover thumbnail file.

Open the Preferences dialog, then Advanced|Miscellaneous|Open calibre configuration directory. Find and delete the the caches/catalog/thumbs.zip file.

Second, while you may be able to build a catalog of 10,000 books, it is unlikely to be usable on your Sony. If you want a listing of your entire 10,000 book catalog, try building with a subset of the sections. For example, you could include only the 'Books by Author' and 'Books by Title' sections.

When building very large catalogs, the Descriptions section takes the most time, and generates the majority of the size.

Wow long time ago that I posted this issue. My library has grown X fold from that time period. I no longer use the PRS650 using my Kindle Paperwhite 6th Gen and love it tremendously.

Thanks for this information it takes a very long time to build my catalog these days, almost 40 minutes most of the time.
