First round of tea, then off to shovel the driveway. We got about 8 inches (20 cm) of wet, dense, heavy snow. My brother, just to the south, got no snow. My sister, just to the north, got 14 inches.

The driveway's half done -- the left half, a cleared path to the road.
In for some black tea to warm up, then out to shovel the other half. |

Good idea to shovel in spurts.
Milk Oolong while a little guy sleeps on my shoulder. Putting him down soon. |

Well I won't be superstitious. But it's said that those who are born in Lunar 2012 (23 Jan, 2012 to 10 Feb, 2013), or Lunar 1952 (27 Jan, 1952 to 14 Feb, 1953), are to be intelligent and successful, especially from middle-age on. And they have happy family too

Happy New Year! It should be a good year for Dragons!
Might not be so good for those of use born under a fire sign, but we'll endeavor to persevere. My son is one happy fellow. He's finally getting to use his new snow blower. No more shoveling for him! I'm pretty happy too. We made almost $250 at the Flea Market today, selling garbage that I would have not blinked at just throwing out. My wife said 'let's try and sell it.' Smart woman. Glad I married her. Even if I was the one who had to carry everything. My reword is a pale blue liquid, cooled by crystal clear ice cubes, in a tall glass. Stitchawl |

Lucas did a good job sleeping. His cough woke him up at midnight. Hubby gave him a bottle and he went right back to sleep. Slept from 12:15 until 6:15. Having a bottle now and hopefully will go back to sleep for a few hours.
